It has been a busy summer for Arsenal, who have already racked up a spending bill worth more than £100million.

And they could yet spend more, with Mikel Arteta hoping to add even more strength to his squad ahead of the deadline, while also looking to offload a number of fringe stars.

On that topic, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours concerning the Gunners.

The Gunners were linked with Lucas Paqueta, who looks likely to link up with West Ham United.

According to Dean Jones, via the Done Deal Show, Arsenal could turn to Zaha, who is said to have been monitored ‘in the background’

Jones added that Zaha is ‘definitely’ someone the Gunners could look at.

Neto latest

Meanwhile, the Gunners continue to be linked with Wolves forward Pedro Neto.

According to Sky Sports reporter Darmesh Sheth, Neto is a target of Arsenal’s.

“Number one, there’s definitely interest in him,” he said. “As far as Wolves are concerned, they’ve got no intention of selling in this transfer window, and their stance is that he is not for sale.

“However, money talks, it just depends if Arsenal were to make that interest formal, how much they would test that resolve of Wolves by going in with whatever money they thought deemed fit for Pedro Neto.”

Maitland-Niles talks

Southampton are now said to have held talks with Arsenal over the signing of Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

According to the Daily Mail, Southampton have now begun discussions over a season-long deal, while other Premier League clubs are also said to be interested.
