Arsenal are back to second in the league following Manchester City’s 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur last night. In a bizarre twist of fate, the Gunners had been hoping to see their fiercest rivals find success against the Cityzens in order to give them the necessary title-race boost but it was not to be and now Mikel Arteta’s side may well be set for a successive second-place finish in the Premier League.
However, they will not be mulling over their disappointments this summer with the Emirates Stadium side ready to welcome plenty of new faces to N7 while simultaneously bidding farewell to a whole host of stars whose time with the Gunners is soon to come to and end.
