Goal from Eddie Nkatiah, Rob Holding and Fabio Viera during their midweek European encounter had led to Arsenal sitting in pole position in Group A with two wins in two games.

Their success so far in the Premier League has been a big talking point early on in the season, with Mikel Arteta leading the club to a run of five wins in four games; their only loss coming from a 3-1 defeat against Manchester United in September.

Arsenal face a Liverpool team that have seen a dip in form since the international break, as they look to recapture the form that saw them deliver a heavy win over Bournemouth back in August.
