The fourth and final supermoon of the year thrilled stargazers in London and the rest of the UK, on Thursday night rising into the sky glowing a deep orange.
With the Met Office forecasting a clear night sky across London, the Sturgeon supermoon occurred just before another cosmic lightshow - the peak of the Perseids meteor shower on August 13
