In a post on X, a weather map showed London was one of the southern areas to be affected by the warning which was in place until the early hours of the morning.
TORRO’s warning comes as the Met Office issued its own yellow weather alert for thunderstorms that will just miss the capital and instead only affect the south west regions of the country on Monday afternoon into the evening.
