This evening will see the unsettled weather throughout the day ease off, with wind falling light and showers dying off.
There will be long spells of clear weather which will give way to widespread frost across the entirety of the region, particularly rural areas.
Temperatures are set to plummet, hitting lows of -4°C.
Saturday
It will be a cold and crisp start to the day with clouds over western areas.

The weather will continue to be unsettled and changeable for most of the day with some brief sunny spells.
The weather will continue to be changeable but will be more settled than the weekend. The temperatures will be milder but tempered by the wind.
