TfL strikes: Walkouts on London Underground, buses and trains this weekend - all you need to know

TfL services in the capital were set to be affected by a series of strikes this weekend on the Underground, trains and buses.

Planned industrial action will affect services on Friday, November 25, and Saturday, November 26.

A strike will close several Tube stations tomorrow (Friday) while National Rail strikes were set to affect Overground timetables on Saturday - but this has since been suspended.

Bus strikes will affect passengers on both days.

Tube stations strike

Transport for London (TfL) says a strike is planned at several Tube stations on Friday, November 25.

If it goes ahead, the stations may open later and close earlier or at short notice.

But Tube trains are expected to run as normal.

The stations likely to be affected are: Euston; Green Park; Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3; Heathrow Terminal 4; Heathrow Terminal 5; Hatton Cross; Hounslow West; King’s Cross St Pancras; and Victoria.

Passengers have been advised to plan ahead and check their travel before departing.

Bus strikes

There are strikes planned on Abellio bus services, TfL says, with the routes affected mostly in west and south London.

Strikes are expected on: Tuesday, November 22; Friday, November 25; Saturday, November 26; Thursday, December 1; Friday, December 2; Saturday, December 3; Friday, December 9; Saturday, December 10; Friday, December 16; and Saturday, December 17.

On the days after strikes, a good service will be running by approximately 6am, TfL says.

A spokesperson added: “We will aim to run as many services as possible.

“Plan ahead and check your travel.”

Affected routes are: 3, 27, 45, 63, 68, 109, 130, 156, 195, 196, 201, 207, 267, 270, 278, 315, 322, 350, 367, 381, 407, 415, 427, 433, 464, 482, 490, 969, C10, E5, E7, E10, E11, H20, H25, H28, H26, P5, P13, R68, R70, S4, U5, U7, U9

Route 481 will operate but with fewer services on weekdays from 07:30-08:00, and from 15:00-16:00. Remaining services will be busier than normal.

The 24-hour routes 24, 111, 159, 285, 344, 345; night routes N3, N27, N63, N68, N109, N207, N381; and school routes 671 will also be affected.

National Rail strikes

Train strikes on Saturday, November 26, were set to affect the London Overground.

But this action has now been suspended.

Other national rail services may still be affected and for more details, passengers are asked to visit the National Rail website.
