Has Shein opened a new store in Oxford Street? Viral video of pop-up store resurfaces giving fans false hope

A video has been doing the rounds again on social media, claiming a new Shein store has opened in London.
While this would be great news for London shoppers, sadly it isn’t true - and it’s actually an old video that has resurfaced.

The video posted by fbshomes, shows last year’s pop-up and has since amassed nearly 57,000 views.
Confused viewers believe the shop has opened full-time on London’s busiest shopping street but as far as we can see that isn’t the case.
The video shows the same purple fronted pop-up that took over the Oxford Street pop-up in September 2023.

At the time, Shein said the store provides “all the style inspiration you need for your wardrobe this season” as it showcases the retailer’s new-season fashion and homeware collections.
It has hosted pop-up shops across the UK including in London, Birmingham and Liverpool - but the brand is yet to open a permanent store.
So if you want to get your hands on the brand’s goodies, you’re going to have to go old school and buy it online (and wait for the delivery!)
