Premium bond winners: January 2023 NS&I premium bond winners in London and how to enter for next month

A brand new month means that Premium Bonds are drawn from National Savings and Investments (NS&I). Lucky winners from London have started the new year in fine fashion with their bank accounts boosted.

This month’s top prize winners from the UK hail from Wiltshire and South Yorkshire, with both winning over £1 million but there’s plenty of cash being won in the capital too. According to the official Premium Bonds website, over £299 million has been handed out in prize money with almost five million people winning in January.

Over 50 people have won at least £5,000 in London in the latest draw, with one lucky winner scooping up £100,000. Overall, there were 171 winners from London in January’s draw.

One Premium Bond holder got £50,000, with four winning £25,000 and 10 taking home £10,000.

How to enter the Premium Bonds draw

To enter, all you need to do is a Premium Bond by registering an account on the NSandI website and filling out an online form or by calling 08085 007 007 to request a form which can then be filled out and sent back to NSandI. Once a bond is purchased, you are automatically entered into a monthly prize draw.

To begin, you will need to invest at least £25. There’s no limit as to how many premium bonds you can purchase, but you must not go over the £50,000 limit. For the minimum price of £25, you will get 25 separate bond numbers.
