The Love Island winner, 28, from London, took to her Instagram stories to talk about her new adventure on Wednesday.

The Dancing on Ice star spoke candidly to her followers, saying: “Within the next few months, I will be going abroad and it’s a very exciting project. I will be working with an amazing charity that I am so passionate about”.

Whilst beaming directly at the camera, she added:“I am going global this summer and I am going to America to pursue an acting dream. I have got some meetings set up already and I am going to keep you posted.”

Whilst this is an exciting announcement, it may not come as a surprise to many as the Love Island winner previously starred as a serial killer in the Turkish soap series, Kuzey Yildizi. When travelling back to Turkey with Davide in their ITV mini series Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings in 2022 she even introduced him to some of her former castmates.

Ekin-Su’s decision to pursue an acting career abroad comes after it was recently revealed, she is reportedly taking legal action against Oh Polly after the clothing brand ‘dropped’ her from a deal worth £1 million.

She was snapped up to be the face of Oh Polly in September, after winning ITV’s Love Island with partner, Davide Sanclimenti, 27.

After signing the £1 million contract, reportedly the biggest deal a Love Island winner has been offered, the star commented excitedly: “When I was 23 I wore Oh Polly. I’m 28 and I’m still wearing Oh Polly. Hopefully when I’m 38, I’ll still be wearing Oh Polly.”

However, the star has been noticeably quiet about the brand in recent months and it was reported that the Dancing on Ice star had been dropped just six months into the contract.

To add insult to injury, Ekin-su’s 16 piece collection is now being sold off at reduced prices.

According to MailOnline, she also has ended her collaboration with online giant Beauty Works, making it her second brand deal to come to a sudden end in the past two months.

A spokesperson for Ekin-Su told MailOnline: “Ekin really enjoyed working with Beauty Works and the 2022 Ekin-Su Party Edit was such an exciting venture for the entire team.

“Both parties are moving to other projects within the hair and beauty space in 2023 but will absolutely stay in touch.”

The brand which also famously works with the likes of Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague, Maura Higgins, Zara McDermott and Millie Court has since removed Ekin-Su from their celebrity side bar.

Ekin took to her Instagram stories to answer questions on their recent split. She announced calmly :“As you have seen I am no longer working with them but I just want to make it clear that I absolutely love Beauty Works, I had my own edit with them and it was great”.

The soon-to-be-global star’s followers took to Twitter to comment on the exciting announcement.

One tweeted: I’m glad she’s pursuing what she wants and I’m hoping the best for her!

Another added: I can definitely see her in an American soap opera 🥰

Finally: Ekin is gonna SLAYYYY Hollywood PERIOD
