Six of the contestants performed one week earlier after the initial eleven contestants were split into two groups.
It meant that John Fashanu, who faced the skate-off alongside Ekin-Su had less time to prepare for the skate-off during Sunday night’s show.
Ekin-Su had an additional week to prepare a new routine for the skate-off with the former football player given short notice that he would skate again.
Fans were quick to call the skate-off unfair and called for the show to re-think the first skate-off on the show.
