London dealer Clive Sutton, who purchased the first model to the UK, says demand for the model in the States is "sky-high".
"As soon as the GMC Hummer EV was announced, our customers have been desperate to see the model in the UK," founder and CEO Clive Sutton told ITV News.
"Now that we have imported the first one, we anticipate orders outstripping supply as buyers clamour to be among the first in Europe to own this electric supertruck".

Because of its weight, customers under the age of 42, will need to pass an additional test to drive it as a standard driving licence simply isn’t suitable. A ‘Category C1’ HGV licence is needed.
The electric Hummer will have a left-hand drive and prospective owners might find it difficult to find a parking space, always a challenged in London. A UK parking bay is 2.4 metres by 4.8 metres, so the Hummer won’t fit in.
Other features include full underbody armour and an optional ‘Ultravision’ system, which has 18 cameras assisting drivers to navigate around obstacles.
