Airport staff are investigating a security incident and passengers will not be able to enter the South Terminal while this is ongoing.

A statement from Gatwick Airport says: “Safety and security of our passengers and staff remains our top priority. We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”

A passenger at Gatwick contacted London World and suggested there was a ‘bag scare’, although this is yet to be confirmed.
