Oxford Street bus ‘assault’: Southwark man Oscar Castano-Colque charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon after a passenger was critically injured on a bus in Oxford Street.

Police were called to the incident on a number 94 bus on Tuesday February 28 at about 10.15pm.

A 25-year-old man received a serious head injury and he remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Oscar Castano-Colque, 20, of Woodfarrs Road, near Dulwich and Camberwell, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today (March 4).

The 94 bus runs between Acton Green and Haymarket.
