Met Police officers were called to Highbury Fields, just before 9pm on Thursday, August 4, to reports of a stabbing.
And the teenager, believed to be 15 years old, was found with stab wounds, just metres away from some of the most expensive streets in London.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
Enquiries are ongoing to inform the boy’s next of kin, and a crime scene has been set up.
A Met spokesperson said: “There have been no arrests and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
