Greenwich stabbings: Fourth teenager charged over killings of Kearne Solanke and Charlie Bartolo

A fourth teenager has been charged with murder after two 16-year-old boys were found fatally stabbed a mile apart in south-east London.

Alagie Jobe, 18 has been charged with the murder of Charlie Bartolo, who was discovered in Sewell Road in Abbey Wood.

He will appear in custody at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday December 6.

Three other teenagers have already been charged with murdering Charlie and also 16-year-old Kearne Solanke.

At around 5.10pm on Saturday, November 26, police rushed to reports of two people injured at two separate locations - Sewell Road, Abbey Wood and Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead.

Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

At each location, they found a 16-year-old male with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, both boys died.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continue to investigate.
