Video: Bexleyheath assault CCTV footage released as Met Police launch appeal

The Met Police has released CCTV footage of a woman officers are looking to identify after another woman was assaulted in a bar in Bexleyheath.

The victim, in her 20s, was found with a head injury outside a bar in Broadway, with officers attending after being contacted by the London Ambulance Service at 11.15pm on December 16.

A police spokesperson said the woman sustained her injury after being assaulted in the bar following an altercation with another woman.

She was later taken to hospital, before being discharged.

The spokesperson said there have been no arrests, and enquiries are ongoing.

Det Const Georgia Fair, of the South East Command Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the woman shown in this footage to get in contact. I am also appealing to anyone who was in the area around the Broadway, Bexleyheath on the night of the December 16 and witnessed this incident to get in touch.”
