Stefan Moraru fatal stabbing, Barnet: Migen Emilova charged with murder

Stefan Moraru was found injured in Chandos Avenue, Barnet, where he died from a stab wound.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Stefan Stelian Moraru in Barnet.

Migen Emilova, 35, of no fixed address, was charged on Sunday (March 26).

A post-mortem confirmed he had died from a stab wound to the heart.

His next-of-kin have been informed, and are being supported by specialist officers.

Three other men have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Two of the men, aged 46 and 39, remain in custody at a north London police station, while another, aged 29, has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Mr Emilova is due to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court later today (March 27).

A Met Police spokesperson said the investigation continues, and that anyone with information should call 101 quoting CAD968/20Mar.
