Kensington is one of the most popular and luxurious neighbourhoods in London, but a recent property listing in the region will make your jaw hit the floor.

A studio apartment in West Kensington on paper looks like an incredibly affordable option for a home in the capital with rent costing only £390 per month.

It has mostly everything you’d need in a future home - a bed, kitchen, and a wardrobe, but the catch is that all this is squished together in an ever-so-tiny space.

The flat, which is within walking distance of attractions like Holland Park and Stamford Bridge, works out at costing renters only £90 a week - though you’ll have to agree to a six-month tenancy first.

Considering that the average monthly rent of a property in London will set you back £1,752, the figures for this ‘snug’ bedsit are quite staggering with charges nearly four-and-a-half times less (though you are likely getting four-and-a-half times less space at the very least too!)

But not as staggering as the fact that not only does the single bed nearly reach the stainless steel kitchen sink, but the flat does not have a bathroom as you’ll need to share with residents of the block.

You could even prepare a lovely meal using a countertop plug-in camp-style cooker if you fancy!

The listing can be found on property websites such as Zoopla and Spacelet, which describe the bedsit as “compact”.

“A single bedsit situated within a large Victorian house in-between West Kensington and Baron’s Court stations with lots of amenities in the area,” it states.

“Fully furnished, wooden floors fitted throughout, own kitchen.
