Here is everything you need to know about Matt Goss; such as who he is and who will be his partner for Strictly Come Dancing 2022.

Who is Matt Goss?

Matt Goss was the lead singer of 1980s pop group Bros. The London-born musician has had residencies in Las Vegas.

Matt Goss - full name Matthew Weston Goss - is an English singer, songwriter and musician who was born and grew up in Lewisham, London.

Despite this, the 53-year-old currently resides across the Atlantic Ocean in the United States of America.

Matt initially rose to fame in the 1980s when he was the lead singer of the band Bros, accompanying his twin brother Luke Goss, who was on the drums.

The band was immediately successful as their debut album titled ‘Push’ went platinum four times.

It featured eight top five hits and remained on the U.K. charts for over a year, ending its long run after an impressive spell of 53 weeks.

After the band went their separate ways, with brother Luke building a reputation in Hollywood’s movie scene, Matt remained a musician.

He is now a solo artist and to date has released five studio albums, the latest of which was released in March this year.

Who is Matt Goss’s Strictly Come Dancing partner?

The official pairings for the 20th series of the dancing competition have been revealed, as a cast of world-class professional dancers and exciting celebrities come together.

Matt Goss has stated that he wants the full Strictly experience, hoping to be “rolled in sequins and glitter”, and could not have been more glammed up than when his dance partner was revealed.

It has been confirmed the musician has been partnered with Nadiya Bychkova.

Nadiya admitted that she is looking forward to working with Matt when she said: “I can’t wait to start teaching him and I can’t wait to start dancing with him.”
