After the year everyone has had so far and the Christmas rush starting to pick up pace, why not take a moment to unwind, relax and treat yourself to a Spa day in London? Perfect timing too as National Spa Week 2022 aims to raise public awareness of the physical, mental and emotional benefits that regular spa attendance can offer.

Taking place from now until November 4, thousands of spas and salons across the UK are uniting to offer lots of exciting introductory offers and promotions on spa treatments so more people can give it a try. Writing about the reasons for National Spa Week, organisers stated: “Our 21st-century lives are fast-paced, more digitally influenced, and busier than ever before.”

“In the same way regular gym attendance keeps us physically fit, regular spa attendance is an effective way to help combat the long-term effects of everyday stress that we have become accustomed to living with.”

Charlie Thompson, Chairman of the UK Spa Association, said of National Spa Week 2022: “It’s high time that the spa industry elevated itself within the public arena as an essential health service that has a great deal to offer, in combination with more widely recognised options such as gyms, sports clinics and counselling.”

Londonworld has taken to Tripadvisor to find out where in London are the best places during National Spa Week for an all-important pampering and some well-earned “me” time, to make life a little bit easier for you this week.

What reviewers said: Amazing experience at the spa of the Mandarin Oriental. The welcome is warm and very professional from the beginning to the end. The lady explained to me all the facilities and gave me a nice tour of the spa. Every single attention is taken care of from the shoes they give you at the beginning to a small bag for your belongings in the massage cabin.
