Here are some of the highlights and best moments from London Fashion Week 2023.
London Fashion Week 2023 has returned for its autumn/winter season with an array of exciting designers and events.
The five day event which started on Friday February 17 and ends on Tuesday February 21 has showcased over 116 designers including LFW favourites Paul Costelloe, Richard Quinn and Simone Rocha.
On Thursday, actress Florence Pugh opened her friend Harris Reed’s show in a sparkling harlequin dress that included a black corset and a huge halo-like headdress.
As she walked the runway she recited a powerful monologue written by Reed.
Held at the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall in London, Reed’s latest collection was inspired by Williams Shakespeare’s "As You Like It."
Meanwhile on Friday Irish designer Paul Costelloe, dedicated his 2023 autumn-winter collection to Dublin and Joyce’s Ulysses with references in fabrics, print and music to his native city.
On Saturday, Simone Rocha used the Irish pagan tradition Lughnasa as the central theme for her show at the central hall of Westminster Hall.
Models traversing the hall and galleries included photographer Perry Ogden, the actress Olwen Fouéré and author/entrepreneur Lily Cole.
