The five cheapest places to dine out in London revealed


Earlier this month we revealed the most expensive places to dine out in London - according to national statistics.
Now we can reveal the cheapest places to eat in the capital, based on the proportion of your average earnings spent on a meal for two.

Hide AdSurprisingly London wasn’t named the most expensive in the country for dining out, instead, it came second to Lancaster.
According to the Dining Out Index, the average cost of a meal out for two people in London is £85, compared to £90 in Lancaster.
While the UK average is around £65 for two people.
The analysis is based on the average cost of a mid-range three-course meal for two. You can find out more about the most expensive places to dine out in London here.

1. Harrow
Average cost of a meal: £40
Percentage of income: 1.20%
2. Kingston Upon Thames
Average cost of a meal: £60
Percentage of income: 1.67%
3. Westminster
Average cost of a meal: £65
Percentage of income: 2.28%
4. Bromley
Average cost of a meal: £70
Percentage of income: 2.32%
Average cost of a meal: £69
Percentage of income: 2.46%
