1. Wide Awake Festival

Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 will see well Park turn into a music-lovers heaven.

On Friday, the gates open at 2pm with last entry at 8.30pm.

The likes of Bicep, Caribou, Leon Vynehall, Overmono, Sofia Kourtesis and many more will be performing live on stage.

Tickets cost £49.50 per person (not including the booking fee), or you can get a discounted ticket for £40 if you enter before 4pm.

On Saturday, gates open at 11.30am with last entry also at 8.30pm.

This day will see Floating Points, Fat White Family, Yard Act, Kevin Morby, The Horrors and Alex Cameron live on stage - alongside many more.

Tickets cost £44.50 per person (not including the booking fee), or you can get a discounted ticket for £35 if you enter before 4pm.

Weekend tickets are also available for those who want to enjoy two-days of music, the tickets are £84 with an £8.40 booking fee.

Please note: The festival is for those age 17 and over, and ID will be required upon entry.

2. The Summer of Soulful Sounds Launch Weekender- Night Owl

Opening its London venue in the midst of a pandemic was not an ideal start for Night Owl, which already has a popular night in Birmingham.

However, they are now giving their new venue another boost with a carefully created summer programme of events.

There will be a whole host of special events, music and good food from Thursday, May 26 to Saturday, June 4.

This weekend the Night Owl cmpany are jumping into action with The Summer of Soulful Sounds Launch Weekender.

It includes performances from DJs, popular bands, and beatboxers as well as a Caribbean fusion food stand.

There are lots of chances to gain free entry over the weekend, and ticketed events only cost as much as £5.

3. Wicked

Wicked’s London production, which continues to run at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in the West End, is now one of London’s longest-running shows.

The Wicked musical, based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, is packed with thrilling technical wizardry, dazzling costumes, an ingenious and witty story and show-stopping songs.

There is a 7.30pm show on Friday, with tickets ranging from £28pp to £177pp.

On Saturday, you can catch the 2.30pm matinee or the 7.30pm show, with tickets ranging from £44pp to £183pp.

Finally, on Sunday there will also be a 2.30pm matinee performance, with tickets ranging from £28pp to £177pp.

4. Mamma Mia! The Party

The tickets may seem pricey at first glance, but Mammia Mia! The Party not only includes music from the popular films, but also a three-course meal and free-flowing alcohol.

There are three parties you can attend this weekend - each lasting four hours.

Saturday, May 28 at 6.30pm, or Sunday, May 29 at 12noon or 6.30pm.

Don’t miss out on dancing to your favourite songs, including Dancing Queen and Honey, Honey, with your friends, whilst enjoying some good food and drinks.

5. Play in the Park pop up day camp

There is nothing better than finding a free day of fun to keep the kids happy, and give yourselves a break.

This Saturday, tents full of mystery will be erected in Greenwich Park, each one will have a different activity going on inside as part of this pop up summer camp.

The team of experienced play workers will be on hand from 12noon to 4pm to get the children involved with outdoor play and nature based craft activities.
