Multiple pubs and bars in London are set to air England’s World Cup matches, where the team will try and put 56 years of heartache to bed and try to win the competition. It was less than 18-months since England were on the brink of their first major international trophy since 1966, where they lost in devastating fashion to Italy on penalties.

But, as the World Cup rolls around once more, England fans are hopeful of becoming world champions once more. This is the first time we will experience a winter World Cup, as the conditions would have been too harsh to play in the summer in Qatar.

In 2018, beer gardens and streets were packed as England reached the final, but it will be different this year when the World Cup kicks off in November. Here’s five pubs and bars in London where you can watch the World Cup 2022.

When are the England games at the World Cup?

England’s group consists of Wales, Iran and the USA. England will play three games in eight days, and will be hoping to make it through to the latter stages. The first game at the 2022 World Cup for England will be against Iran, which kicks off on Monday, November 21 at 1pm UK time.

Their second game is against the USA, kicking off at 7pm UK time on Friday, November 25. The last game of England’s group games will be against Wales. The game is on Tuesday, November 29 at 7pm UK time at the Al Rayyan Stadium.
