Here are 10 of the most popular job vacancies in London’s hospitality sector right now

With the increase in vacancies rising in the run up to Christmas, hospitality is a sector with some of the most vacancies.

Salary is so dependent on experience, and the type of contract you are offered. Totaljobs found that in a sample size of 7,745 people the average salary for hospitality workers across the UK is £25,000.

But which jobs are offering that?

According to Totaljobs the average salary for hospitality jobs in London is £29,000, but can range from £23,000-37,500.

Here is a snapshot of some of the most popular jobs available in Liverpool today (Wednesday):

1. £28,000, per year, Waiter Award-winning restaurant Hot Stone currently has a permanent vacancy for someone looking to join their team on a full-time basis. They offer great company benefits, as well as tailored training and development specific to their business.

2. £25,000 - 30,000 per year, Floor Staff/Server Family run restaurant Aya Lebanese Cuisine is looking for a range of experienced front of house staff members. All roles are full time hours, and come with a number of good benefits.

3. £22,500 per year, Food Runner/Server Modern dining restaurant in Notting Hill, Core by Clare Smyth is looking for talented waiters to join their team. They have both full-time and part-time positions currently available.

This is just a handful of the positions available at the moment that are paying above the minimum wage. However, the national living wage changes every year.

It has been reported that prime minister Boris Johnson will increase the minimum wage to £9.42 in the coming weeks.
