£132m umbrella of support from The Health Lottery

Thanks to players of The Health Lottery, £132 million has been raised for good causes, funding grants for 3,550 small charities performing vital work at a local level, supporting the health and well-being of people living in some of the most disadvantaged communities in Great Britain.
The Health Lottery recently funded a mobile dental unit to help tackle the dental health crisis.

Hide AdPartnering with Dentaid, the dental charity, the Health Lottery invested in the charity’s ninth mobile dental unit for the summer in Weston-super-Mare providing care for people living in poverty, recovering from cancer, experiencing addiction or homelessness.


"We are incredibly proud of the difference that our players have made," said Carly Troullis of The Health Lottery.
"The money raised has gone on to support numerous brilliant charities across Scotland, Wales, and England, tackling loneliness, building communities, supporting disabilities, and helping people of all ages stay active and creative.”
Some of the remarkable organisations supported include Stereo Hype Social in Birmingham, which foster community spirit through creative activities.

Artistic Spectrum in Thorne, South Yorkshire, offer creative outlets for individuals with autism whilst Finding Your Feet founded by Dr Cor Hutton MBE is Scotland’s leading amputee charity, offering support and activities for amputees.
The British owned Health Lottery also launched its first ever podcast this year with host Danni Menzies. The Paying it Forward podcast celebrates the concept of small and big wins in life. Guests include musician Julyan Lloyd Webber OBE, Lord Peter Hain, Adele Parks MBE, broadcaster Kaye Adams, sportsman Kenny Logan and several social entrepreneurs who share stories of resilience and generosity.
