According to the recently published Global Salary Planning Report by pay and reward consultancy 3R Strategy, more than one-third of organisations (36%) haven’t established clear pay principles and processes.

Among those who have, the focus should now shift to effectively communicating these principles to foster trust and understanding among employees.

While establishing principles and processes is a crucial first step towards pay transparency in the workplace, the true challenge lies in conveying them clearly and embedding them into a broader rewards narrative. Despite 68% of organisations having salary ranges, only 26% make these ranges available to employees, as reported by 3R Strategy. Bridging this gap represents a significant opportunity to build trust and engagement, but it requires careful preparation and communication.

With employee retention a critical issue for many businesses, reward management is pivotal in addressing this challenge. How employees are recognised, compensated and rewarded not only influences their motivation and satisfaction but also directly impacts their trust in the organisation’s leadership.

The course will define the key elements of reward management, explain how to apply core reward principles to develop transparent and fair reward practices, and evaluate different approaches to managing pay and understand their impact on employee engagement. Participants will learn practical steps to implement reward practices while overcoming common challenges.

The sessions will be led by Rameez Kaleem, the Founder and Director of 3R Strategy. With 20 years of experience in reward, both in-house and as a consultant, he has extensive expertise in job architecture design, bonus and sales incentives, pay structures, and equal pay. Kaleem founded 3R Strategy in 2015 to help more organisations build a culture of trust through pay transparency. Drawing on years of market experience, he and his team are now eager to share their insights and help businesses apply key reward principles to drive long-term organisational success.

3R Strategy offers two formats of the course: an interactive online session on Thursday, 27th March, from 9 am to 1 pm via Zoom, and an in-person session on Thursday, 3rd April, from 9:30 am to 5 pm in Central London. The cost of the online session is £295 + VAT, while the in-person session is priced at £795 + VAT. Group discounts are also available for both days.
