To welcome customers back to work, university and school, Aldi’s Shop&Go Store in Greenwich is giving up to 50 customers the chance to win a shop for free.

From Monday, September 23 to Sunday, September 29, new shoppers who make an in-store purchase of £10 or more using the Shop&Go app, will be entered into a prize draw.

The lucky winners will then be chosen at random to receive a shop from Aldi. Winners will be contacted by the Store Manager by Friday, October 4.

Ben Shotter, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “Our Shop&Go Store has been a big hit in the local community - thanks to the everyday low prices, great quality and easy shopping experience offered.

“We wanted to give everyone in Greenwich the chance to win a shop on us, whether it’s university students going back to campus or customers going back to work after a summer holiday, anyone who downloads our app and shops with us could be in with a chance of winning.”

First opening in January 2022, Aldi’s Shop&Go Store allows customers to complete their shop without scanning a single product or having to go through a checkout.

The system uses specially positioned cameras to detect which products have been picked up. Once customers have finished shopping, they are charged automatically via their contactless payment card or Aldi Shop&Go account and can receive their receipt via the app or website.
