James is the local democracy reporter manager at National World's City World titles. He works with the BBC-funded reporters in Hampshire, Lancashire, South Yorkshire and Sunderland. He also keeps an eye on the content being produced by local democracy reporters in London, Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham where they are based at other titles. Before joining National World in October 2023, James worked as an audience and content editor at the Hereford Times and spent time in one of the news teams at Free Radio (now Hits Radio) and Greatest Hits Radio. He lives in Herefordshire with a very energetic cocker spaniel!
