Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to eight Enfield establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Enfield’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Stir Food Ltd at St Marys Rc Primary School, Durants Road, Enfield; rated on July 17

• Rated 5: Bonema Brasserie at 17 Silver Street, Enfield; rated on July 12

• Rated 5: Sophie's Bakery & Cafe at 2 Sarnesfield Road, Enfield; rated on July 12

• Rated 5: St Ignatius Kitchen, Impact Food Group at St Ignatius Rc College, Turkey Street, Enfield; rated on July 5

• Rated 5: Aspen Services Ltd at Honilands Primary School, Lovell Road, Enfield; rated on July 4

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
