Crystal Palace linked with £3m bargain transfer as ‘approach’ planned

Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira will hope to have a busy summer transfer window after an impressive first season at the club’s helm.

Last summer proved to be a very successful window for the Eagles, acquiring Marc Guehi, Michael Olise, and Connor Gallagher, and Vieira will hope to replicate those triumphs.

Conor Gallagher’s loan has now concluded so Vieira will be aiming to add to his midfield roster.

In light of this, here is the latest Crystal Palace transfer news and rumours.

Palace eye Dennis

Emmanuel Dennis is wanted by Crystal Palace as the Watford man looks to find a way back into the Premier League.

Although the Hornets were relegated from the League, Dennis still performed well and, Palace as well as West Ham, are vying for his signature.

The 24-year-old could be available for as little as £3m which is an absolute bargain for a player that was involved in 16 goals last term.

Palace were in the market for Eddie Nketiah but it seems unlikely the player will leave Arsenal and the Nigerian is seen as an alternative to the Gunners striker.

Gallagher latest

Conor Gallagher has spoken about his future as it is unclear where the midfielder will be next season.

Gallagher, who excelled at Selhurst Park, said on talkSPORT: “The season has just finished, and I've come straight here with England. I know it's not what you want to hear, it's boring but it’s true.

“I've not thought about it and I'm just focused on the four games here with England.”

The 22-year-old may stay at Chelsea but Palace, along with Everton, are keen to secure the services of the player on a permanent deal.

Palace linked to Richards

According to the Telegraph, the Eagles will make an approach for young Bayern Munich defender Chris Richards.

Richards spent last season on loan at TSG Hoffenheim, making 34 appearances for the club and Vieira may make an audacious move for the American.

Palace have a relatively young backline and Richards would fit this mould perfectly if he is to join the Premier League side.

The transfer window is not officially open yet so Vieira is yet to make an official approach.
