Mauricio Pochettino can do something in the Chelsea vs Tottenham game that no manager has ever done

Mauricio Pochettino is looking for three points against his former side that could help Chelsea secure European football.

Chelsea will take on Tottenham at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night looking for a win that will damage Tottenham’s Champions League ambitions and boost their own European targets.

The Blues lost to Arsenal the other night before travelling to Villa Park and fighting from two goals down to secure a point that keeps them in the hunt for some form of European football

This is the first game since Chelsea defender Thiago Silva confirmed he was leaving the club, so expect some big reception when the Brazilain, who is expected to start takes to the field.

For Spurs, they are looking at avoiding three straight defeats after losing to Newcastle and Arsenal in their last two games. Ange Postecoglou’s side are seven points behind Aston Villa in fourth but have played two games less so this is a pivotal game that could define their campaign.

The Blues travelled to North London in November last year and brought an end to Tottenham’s then-unbeaten start to the season with a Nicolas Jackson hat-trick.

That night Pochettino quietened the noise around Tottenham’s Premier League title credentials and will look to now land a devastating blow to their top-four ambitions.

The last time Tottenham turned up and took all three points at Stamford Bridge, Pochettino was still the manager of the Lilywhites so Postecoglou would have to do a lot of work to ensure his team take all three points against an often difficult opponent.
